Welcome to High Performance Computing Laboratory (HPCLab)

The High Performance Computing Laboratory (HPCLab) was established in 2011 in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM) as a research-leading enviroment in various fields of Molecular and Continuum Fluid Mechanics. The laboratory includes one professor (Dr. Ehsan Roohi) of department and several graduate and undergraduate students of Mechanical, Aerospace and Chemical Engineering. Possessing advanced facilities, and high performance computers, the laboratory group is determined to perform new ideas in mentioned fields of study. The main research topics in this laboratory includes Micro/Nanofluidics, Rarefied Gas Dynamics, Direct Simulation Monte-Carlo, Molecular Dynamics Simulations, Turbulence Modelling, Two-phase Flows, Nanofluids flow and Heat Transfer.
